It’s been just days since Hallmark stars Ben Rosenbaum and Erin Krakow delighted “When Calls the Heart” fans everywhere with news that they were expecting a child. They even got their dog involved in the candid photo shoot, with an adorable picture of little Willoughby wearing a ‘big brother’ T-shirt.
The couple is clearly still basking in the glow of pregnancy along with their still-new marriage. On December 1, Rosenbaum posted a sweet photo of his wife looking at him with adoration, her brunette curls floating around her face and forehead. But it was his words that melted the hearts of Hearties everywhere.
“6 months of wedded bliss, 5 months of growing our baby,” he captioned the photo. “1 lifetime of love in front of us [Erin Krakow].”

Rosenbaum seems to be frequently outdoing himself when it comes to the best boyfriend/fiancé/husband award. In 2024, Krakow told Good Housekeeping (via Prevention) about the gift he bought her that was a “game changer.”
“This was a gift from Ben, and it connects to an app on your phone,” she explained, showing off her HidrateSpark PRO Smart Water Bottle. “It reminds you throughout the day if you’re not on track to meet your goal of how much water you’re supposed to be drinking. Amazing!”

The couple has been on “When Calls the Heart” since the show began in 2014. Rosenbaum plays Mike Hickam, while Krakow plays the lead star and heroine, Elizabeth Thornton.
While Krakow and Rosenbaum have always kept their relationship very private, they’ve given fans glimpses of their love over the years. In May 2015, they arrived together at the Marina del Rey Marriott for the premiere of the short film “French Kiss.”
