Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Gets Emotional After Robyn Brown’s Touching Show of Support on ‘Special Forces’

Sister Wives” star Kody Brown was moved to tears after his wife Robyn Brown and their children showed their support for his difficult journey on “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.”

Kody’s Vow to His Family

The former polygamist, who also shares kids with exes Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Christine Brown, admitted that he needed to take accountability for the way his family was divided.

During the November 6 episode of “Special Forces,” Kody was forced to reflect on his missteps as a father while on a hostage rescue exercise with Shawn Johnson.

“There’s always the accusation that I was favoring one over another,” Kody said, referring to his four wives and 18 kids that he has to support. “But they would turn against you—they were like, ‘I don’t need dad or want dad in my life.'”

Kody felt that most of his older children rejected him. “I was offended by a lot of what they did,” he admitted, especially because he believed he “gave all my kids what I had.”

“As long as they were engaging me, they always got reciprocation.”

Kody acknowledged he doesn’t “want to admit I’m wrong sometimes,” but he was ready to take some accountability for the way his family was divided.

“I’m the discrepancy. I should have had a strong relationship with my children,” Kody said. “I’m in a place in my life now where I’m very willing to say that I’ve been wrong.”

He also admitted that some of his failures occurred because he didn’t know anything about “being a dad and husband and I thought I did. I really thought I did and I misunderstood that and I did it wrong in so many ways.”

“I would like to repair all the relationships with my family and even my ex-wives,” he acknowledged in a confessional, “and that’s not easy.”

Robyn’s Touching Message

The “Special Forces” contestants are treated to video messages from home only after completing an extraction mission, according to Fox. This involves being split into teams and carrying tires, ropes, and chains up a mountain.

While Kody continues to push himself beyond his limits on season four “Special Forces,” he’s had his wife Robyn and their children Dayton, 25, Aurora, 23, Breanna, 21, Solomon, 14, and Ariella, 9, cheering him on at home.

E! News shared an exclusive look at the November 13 episode along with Kody’s reaction to Robyn’s supportive video.

“Hi handsome,” Robyn began in her message. “I’m sure you’re charming everyone and making friends and just impressing everyone with what you can pull off and what you can do.”

“Please know the kids and I are praying for you every day and sending you light and love,” she continued.

Along with the “Sister Wives” star, the contestants that remain on “Special Forces” include: Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, “Real Housewives of New Jersey” daughter and “Next Gen NYC” star Gia Giudice, Randall Cobb, Shawn Johnson East, and Andrew East.
