Kody Brown Shaves It All off for Wife Robyn on ‘Sister Wives’

In the Nov. 16 episode of TLC’s “Sister Wives,” Kody Brown is sporting a fresh new look all in the name of pleasing his wife, Robyn Brown.

Over the past twenty seasons, Kody has cycled through countless styles, but his beard and mustache have been his signature in recent years. That all changed in the latest episode, when the father of eighteen shaved both his mustache and beard so he and Robyn could, as he put it, “make out like teenagers.”

In the Nov. 16 episode of “Sister Wives” season 20, sparks continue to fly between Kody Brown and Robyn Brown, showing thier romance is very much alive as they lock lips a few times while working on a home renovation project.

However, Robyn shares that it’s become “painful” to kiss her husband because of his mustache and beard. She shares in a confessional, “It’s like kissing one of those vegetable scrubbers from your kitchen sink.”

But when Kody realizes he’ll get even more love and affection from Robyn if he shaves off his facial hair, he wastes no time heading to the bathroom and grabbing his razor to buzz it all off.

“Promise me we’re going to make out like teenagers and I promise you it won’t bother me a bit,” he tells her as he proceeds to kiss Robyn once more with a clean, shaven face.

Meanwhile, his former wives, including Christine Brown Woolley, Janelle Brown, and Meri Brown, are asked if they prefer a man with a beard. “Someone said kissing a man without a mustache is like eating an egg without salt,” Woolley shares, who is now married to David Woolley, who just so happens to have a fuller goatee.

Meri states, ” I think facial hair on guys is attractive,” while Janelle admits she does not have a “strong opinion” on it, adding that she is most attracted to everything the opposite of Kody.

Kody Faces Janelle Brown & Meri Brown During Coyote Pass ‘Standoff’

The Nov. 16 episode concludes with Meri, Janelle, Kody, and Robyn arriving at Coyote Pass after learning that the property has officially been sold. The long, drawn-out process of selling Coyote Pass has been a major source of stress for all parties involved.

But the sale ultimately symbolizes the true end of the Brown family as they each prepare to go their separate ways and have nothing tying them together.

As Kody and Robyn arrive last at the property to wait for their real estate agent, they notice Meri and Janelle have chosen to stay inside their cars. In a confessional, Robyn admits she hoped her former sister wives would be “open” to talking when they finally meet face-to-face, but seeing them remain in their vehicles, to her, felt like “a message that we don’t need to interact.”

Meanwhile, Meri jokes about no one choosing to leave their cars, “Are they having a prayer? Please, Lord, pray for peace because I have to go see my exes.”

Janelle calls the awkward moment “a standoff,” adding, “It’s a standoff at Coyote Pass, final showdown, or something.”

In April, Coyote Pass officially sold for $1.5 million, with the proceeds being divided equally between Meri, Janelle, Kody, and Robyn.
