’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Big Ed Shares Exciting Career News

Ed “Big Ed” Brown has become one of the most recognizable faces in TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé” universe. From overseas love quests to chaotic relationships at home, he kept fans hooked with constant big reveals and life updates.

Fans have not seen Big Ed in any “90 Day Fiancé” installments for quite some time, as he has ventured into a new career. In January, Big Ed revealed that he launched his own brand of wine, called Big Ed Malbec. A recent update from the former reality TV star shows that his wine business is really taking off.

Big Ed Makes Major Moves in His Wine Business

Big Ed may no longer be on our television screens, but you may see his face at your local Walmart. In a recent Instagram post, the “90 Day Fiancé” icon shared that his red wine, Big Ed Malbec, will soon be available across several Walmart locations.

The post featured Big Ed snapping selfies behind a massive in-store display showcasing his new wine label, complete with Big Ed himself holding a glass of his wine. He captioned the photos, “Coming to a Walmart near you imported from Argentina..!”

He also wrote, “Introducing Big Ed Malbec imported from Argentina, a wonderful and amazing, smooth, red love and enjoy with your family and friends..!”

According to MSN, Big Ed’s bottles of wine will be distributed across 600 Walmarts in the United States.

Big Ed Turned His Passion Into a Successful Business

Big Ed first revealed his career shift and his new venture into the wine business back in January. Speaking to The Mirror US, he shared that he traveled to Argentina, where he sampled wines to create his very own.

“I have always been a huge fan of Malbec wine from Argentina. I’ve tried other grapes from your Zinfandels to your Cabernets to your Pinots, but there’s something about the region of Argentina, Mendoza specifically, that I just fell in love with and it’s always been a dream of mine to have my own winery,” he told the outlet.

The reality star even teased what fans could expect from his wine, sharing that red wine aficionados in particular will appreciate its flavor. “Probably, I think, one of the most smoothest, eloquent grapes they’ll ever taste,” he said. Big Ed even proved that he’s a big red wine drinker when he then joked, “I drink Malbec every day. I think it’s what’s keeping me alive.”

On Instagram, Big Ed shared his process for finding his perfect wine. In a Nov. Instagram post, he detailed that he and his partners spent over a year looking for the “best winery in Argentina.” Additionally, the star said that his wine will be presented at the San Diego restaurant Brisa, for patrons to try on Dec. 4.
