On Nov. 22, TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé” star Elizabeth Castravet shared the heartbreaking news that her father, Chuck Potthast, who made numerous appearances on the show, had passed away. The family had not revealed the cause of his death. Despite reports from several media outlets claiming he died of cancer, Elizabeth firmly called these stories “fake news” and asked fans for privacy during this difficult time.

In his post, Andrei shared how Chuck loved being on television alongside his family despite the many fights and feuds, and thanked him for the “memories, the laughs, and the moments no one ever saw” off-screen.
