“90 Day Fiance” star Evelin Villegas is one step closer to beginning her life in the U.S. with Corey Rathgeber.
Last week, the Ecuador native took to Instagram to reveal that her visa was finally approved after almost six years of waiting.
“I’m Moving to the USA! Soooo excited to a new chapter in my life,” Evelin captioned the post. “So scared of the winter but still so excited for the future . Wish me all the luck. I’ll let you know how it goes. Thank you to all of you who love me and wish me the best always.”

In the same post, Villegas admitted she’s feeling both “super nervous” and “super excited” after receiving her U.S. visa. The “90 Day Fiance” alum hopes she can adapt to her new home and meet new friends.
“Hoping that I can meet new friends and I can get to call U.S. my new home since it’s Corey’s home and now will be my new home too,” Villegas added.
Villegas went on to reveal that it’s been nearly six years since she was last in America, and she hasn’t returned since. Now, she’s looking forward to seeing all the changes and hopes she can adapt quickly.
Villegas Shares More Details of Her Migration
Meanwhile, fans took to the comment section to ask what would happen to Villegas and Rathbeger’s businesses in Ecuador. Those who follow the couple’s story on “90 Day Fiance” know they have established multiple businesses in the country, including a bar, hotel, and rental houses.
Villegas confirmed that their businesses will continue operating as usual, noting that they’ll manage them remotely with the support of family and staff.
In the comments, Villegas also revealed that she and Rathgeber will be “at the border between Oregon and Washington” before going to Hawaii in January.
When asked about their plans for their fur babies, the “90 Day Fiance” star revealed that they’ve already begun the process to bring the dogs with them.
“We already started all the paperwork, but we need to get settled first so we will be back to pick them up in the next few months,” Villegas replied to a fan. “For now, they will stay with my family, and they will receive all the love . I’m still gonna be missing them every single day.”
As for a return to “90 Day Fiance,” Villegas didn’t give a direct answer.
“Maybe yes, maybe no. But I will for sure be making you guys all a part of this new adventure for me,” she added. “I’m also gonna be annoying, making a bunch of questions about the USA, I’m sure.”
