Kody Brown’s Apology Tour Continues as He Faces Christine Brown & Her Husband

TLC’s “Sister Wives” season 20 continues to focus on Kody Brown’s ongoing apology tour, with his second stop taking him to Nevada to meet with his ex, Christine Brown Woolley, in the Dec. 14 episode.

Kody kicked off the tour in North Carolina, where he surprised Janelle Brown with an unexpectedly candid and heartfelt apology. But with Christine bringing her husband, David Woolley, to their meeting, will things go just as smoothly?

Kody Brown Meets With Christine Brown During His Apology Tour

On the Dec. 14 episode of “Sister Wives,” Kody Brown makes his second round of apologies, this time to Christine Brown Woolley, who was the first of the wives to leave their plural marriage in 2021, after over 25 years of marriage.

As Kody heads to Nevada, he sits down not only with Christine but also with her husband of two years, David Woolley, adding an unexpected dynamic to the conversation.

Kody begins his apology with, “For how we broke up, for how it all went down, I want to apologize for being angry about it. I want to apologize for the struggles.”

In a confessional, Christine admits she was shocked to hear Kody’s apology; it wasn’t what she expected, as the two ended things on a sour note.

“That’s not necessarily what” she expected. “Let’s just do it then. I’m all for this. I’m actually all for a conversation that goes [into all of this],” she shares.

During their conversation, Kody shared that he hoped Christine found healing, but she interrupts him to state that what happened between them is “in the past and it’s okay.” Kody continues, however, adding, “An apology doesn’t hurt,” to which she replies, “Apologies are nice, but I’m saying, it’s okay.”

Kody Confronts Christine’s Husband, David Woolley

The conversation ended up going smoother than Christine expected. Surprisingly, Kody wasn’t bothered that she brought David for support, in fact, he even made light of the situation.

Kody brings David into the mix, when he shares to Christine, “If I wouldn’t have messed it up, then you wouldn’t have what you have [with David].” He then adds to David, “Later, you might want to punch me. Right now, you probably still really appreciate it.”

But David remains calm throughout the exchange and is even understanding of Kody and his desire to apologize to his ex-wife.

“The thing is, is like when I talk to Christine about you, I see it from a guy’s point of view. I really do,” he tells Kody. “I get where you’re coming from in a lot of ways.” Kody tells him that he “appreciates the sort of the vote of grace.”

When Kody had initially reached out to Christine, her first response was not to meet with him, adding, “I don’t trust anything that comes out of his mouth.” Of course, she had every right not to meet with him, seeing as how tense their split was.

However, when Christine did accept his invitation, she made sure to have David by her side, because as she shared in a confessional, “If Kody started to be mean or anything or aggressive towards me or anything like that, David would not allow that and I wouldn’t either.”

In fact, in the season 20 trailer, Kody and David are even seen spending a day together racing cars during his visit to Nevada.

After meeting with Christine and David, Kody’s apology tour ends with Meri Brown in Utah.
