WATCH: Swift Discusses Her New Hobbies on ‘New Heights’ Podcast

This isn’t the first we’ve heard of Swift’s admiration for the art of baking. The singer opened up about the various hobbies she’s picked up during her recent appearance on “New Heights,” a popular podcast hosted by Kansas City Chiefs player and her now fiancé Travis Kelce and future brother-in-law Jason Kelce.

In case you missed it, here’s a recap of all things sourdough from Swift’s debut episode on August 13 where she also revealed details about her newest album.

“I’d say all my hobbies could be categorized as, like, hobbies you could have had in the 1700s,” said Swift. “I like to sew. I specialize, as you know, in children’s purses and baby blankets. I make two things, and that’s it. I love to paint. I love to cook.”

After that, there was nothing stopping Swift from getting into the thick of her bread obsession. “Right now, we’re very deep in a sourdough obsession that has taken over my life,” Swift begins.

“I am aware, and I’m very deep in it now,” the older Kelce brother admitted.

“He asked me to send him [Travis] two loaves of sourdough at training camp,” Swift disclosed. “Sourdough has taken over my life in a huge way. I’m really talking about bread, uh, 60 percent of the time now. It’s become a huge, huge factor.”

Travis admitted that his favorite type of bread that Swift makes is blueberry. While continuing to experiment in the kitchen, Swift reveals that she’s been workshopping different kinds of bread, like a “fun-fetti” sourdough, “for the girls,” in reference to Jason and Kylie Kelce’s daughters.

“She’s a loaf-er for life now,” said Travis. When responding to Swift’s perusing of sourdough blogs online, he continued, “the amount of people hoping that you’re on their blog…”

“Oh, I’m on your blog,” Swift replied without hesitation. “Girl, I’m on your blog.”

Swift’s Love Language Must Be Gift-Giving

Fallon isn’t the only celebrity to receive one of Swift’s infamous loafs. When Swift claimed on “New Heights” that she’s always texting her friends asking to send them some bread because she needs some feedback, she wasn’t lying.

On Tuesday, July 22, Swift sent longtime pal Selena Gomez and her husband Benny Blanco a gift basket for Gomez’s 33rd birthday. Blanco shared a photo of the basket on Instagram, which was filled with a Le Labo candle and a fresh sourdough loaf, clearly made with love and care.

“Homemade Sourdough” is handwritten on a sticker, along with a note saying “For Selena + Benny,” followed by a heart. Another handwritten message says, “It’s a loaf story,” which is a play on the lyrics from Swift’s 2008 pop anthem “Love Story.”
