There are only two weeks left until the “Survivor” season 49 finale, which means these castaways are feeling even more pressure to survive Tribal Council. After some meltdowns on “Survivor” 2025 tonight, the plotting and conniving get started. It all ends tonight when Jeff Probst reveals the “Survivor” results. Another Blindside on ‘Survivor’ Tonight?
We are down to the final seven castaways on “Survivor” season 49. That means people are starting to think more and more about how they are going to get to the finale and who they want to take with them. After a blindside last week, are we in for another one tonight?
The sneak peek video from CBS this week shows Soph trying to plot against Savannah, since she is figuring she is at the bottom of that three-person alliance with Savannah and Rizo. Will a plan hatch to get Savannah out this week? We made our predictions earlier, but find out tonight and find out who got eliminated on “Survivor” season 49 during our “Survivor” live recap below.

Back From Tribal Council
The castaways are back, and Kristina said they are good liars. She played her idol for Steven, and he didn’t even get one vote. Rizo said he planned on playing his fake idol before Kristina to get her to play it, but then she played hers too quickly and ruined his phone. He thinks playing the fake idol helped his long game.
Sophie tries to explain to Kristina, Steven, and Sage why she voted out Jawan. She is trying to explain why she lied, but Sage isn’t having it. Sophie is getting angry that Sage isn’t understanding her side. Sage thinks she just handed Savannah the $1 million. Now Sage is out to get Sophie.
When To Flip on Your Allies
The next day arrives, and the talk is about getting Sophie out. They used her to get Jawan out; now they might be gunning for her.
Meanwhile, Soph knows she is at the bottom of the three-person alliance she has with Savannah and Rizo. She talks with Sage, trying to put it out there that she knows she has to vote out Savannah and Rizo. Soph said the best bet for both of them is to sit next to each other in the final two.
Sage said she has been pitching for Savannah to go home, but now she wants Sophie gone for voting out Jawan and thinks she’s more dangerous.
A ‘Strenuous’ Activity
A boat arrives at camp, and it tells them one of them will leave camp and be taken somewhere to do a “strenuous activity.” Steven knows he’s a target, so he wants to do this and get an advantage out of it.
The strenuous aspect scared a lot of them out of it, as they don’t want to use energy they need to save for the Immunity Challenge. Steven says he’ll do it, so he heads out to see what kind of advantage he may be able to get on “Survivor” season 49.
After he leaves, the focus at camp seems to be that Steven needs to be the next target. However, they are all worried about him getting an advantage and winning the next Immunity Challenge. Sophie and Soph talk, and Soph, again, feels she needs to flip on Savannah and Rizo. They are planning on targeting Savannah if Steven wins immunity this week.
Advantage Time on ‘Survivor’ 49?
Meanwhile, Steven arrives at the island. He has to navigate around the island to find six numbers to unlock a box. He has to find all the numbers and unlock the box before the tide rises and a pot on a pole out in the ocean falls off. If the pot falls off before he unlocks the box, then no advantage for him, and he loses his vote at the next Tribal!
As much as he wanted to quit, he got around the island and gathered all the numbers. He comes back, unlocks the box, and gets his advantage. For the advantage, he gets to block one player’s vote at Tribal Council. He has to declare who that person will be before they leave for Tribal. The person will find out when they go to vote that their vote is blocked, but won’t know who did it.
Chicken Wranglers
The castaways are hungry, so time to cook up these chickens. While it seemed like a simple plan, the chickens aren’t working with them.
Soph said this is like their own Immunity Challenge, as they can’t wrangle them. They aren’t happy, as the chickens aren’t working with them.
Steven gets back to camp, but isn’t sure what he’s going to tell them. He tells them all about the island and the challenge. He does tell them that he completed it, didn’t lose his vote, and got an advantage. However, he didn’t tell them what the advantage was.
Rizo is convinced Steven got a steal a vote advantage. He is paranoid and freaking out, so he goes to Steven and says he knows he has a steal a vote. Steven wanted this chaos, and is loving it. Meanwhile, Soph has the Knowledge is Power advantage, which no one knows about. She said she can steal this advantage from Steven, so no need to worry about it.
Immunity Challenge on ‘Survivor’ 49
The castaways arrive, and Jeff Probst meets them. This is a familiar challenge, as the castaways will be wearing a belt with a rope. That rope is attached to a rotating disc. They will be going back and forth to gather blocks and stack them on the disc, which is spinning as they move back and forth. The first person to stack all of their blocks to spell “IMMUNITY” will win immunity. They will also win a reward, which will be spaghetti, garlic bread, juices, iced tea, and tiramisu back at camp.
All of the castaways are moving along nicely, as Steven gets down to one letter. That is when Soph had two letters left, but her blocks fell over, and she had to start over. Steven gets all of the blocks on there, but he has a big lean to those blocks. Sage and Savannah are one letter away, but Steven gets back to the platform, and the blocks stay intact! He wins his second individual immunity this season and wins a spot in the final six!
Now Steven gets to choose people to get the reward with him. He picks Kristina for being his girl. Then he picks Rizo, as he hasn’t eaten the longest of anyone. Rizo gets very emotional after getting picked, but it was definitely a very touching gesture by Steven.
Reward Time
Steven is feeling on top of the world right now, as he got his advantage and now immunity. Rizo is trying to make Steven and Kristina feel safe. He wants to keep his three safe, so he wants the focus to be on someone else. Rizo is trying to sell a Sophie vote tonight on “Survivor” 2025.
Steven says he is down for this idea, as he gets to keep his advantage for another Tribal, if everyone is down for voting out Sophie this week. Kristina said she is down for the idea to Rizo, but she tells us she wants Savannah gone.
Back at camp, the other castaways are upset that Steven won, as he was the target. Sophie then tries to convince Sage and Soph to get Savannah out. They agree, but Sage wants revenge for the Jawan vote. Sophie leaves, and then the talk goes to them voting out Sophie.
Revenge for Jawan?
The castaways return from the reward, so Soph tells Rizo that they need to get Sophie out. He agrees, especially since Soph tells him Sophie wants to go after Savannah.
Sage is on board with a Sophie vote to get revenge for Jawan. However, she wants to convince Sophie she is going to vote out Savannah. Sophie tries to convince Steven and Kristina to vote out Savannah, which Kristina wants to. It definitely is coming down to what these people decide, but it seems to be between Sophie and Savannah as they head to Tribal Council tonight.
Immunity Challenge on ‘Survivor’ Season 49
Things start with Sage getting emotional talking about Jawan and the blindside from the last Tribal. We talk about Steven and him winning the advantage. Then it goes to talk about challenge domination, a Savannah, Steven, and Sophie have all won two times. No one else has won. The focus goes to Savannah and Sophie, but then Kristina says her vote is going to Savannah. Again, a lot of talk and going in circles, but it’s finally time for the vote.
RESULTS: Jeff tallies the votes. No votes were blocked by Steven, no idols were played. The votes are: Savannah, Sophie, Sophie, Sophie, and Sophie. Sophie has been voted off. She is shocked, but Sage is smiling big time, as Jawan is flexing in the jury. They share a moment as she smiles at him, and he gives her a round of applause.

I think Sage is just rude and hate all her faces she makes. She is supposed to be a grown up for crying out loud. I am hoping she leaves soon. Soph needs to think long and hard about teaming up with Sage.Jawan seems like a nice person, but I was not upset he was voted out.
I think others should have gone before Sophie. There is a lot of dead wood still in 49
I don’t like the faces Sage makes either. They look like faces the “queen” of the in-crowd in high school would make. I wish they would get her out.
