Dancing With The Stars runner-up Alix Earle and her boyfriend Braxton Berrios have decided to call it quits after over two years of dating, Us Weekly reports.
“Majority of their relationship was long-distance, and it was hard for them to navigate,” an insider told the outlet. “They mutually agreed on the split.”
Rumors about Earle and Berrios began in May 2023 following his breakup with Sophia Culpo. In November 2023, the two officially became boyfriend and girlfriend.
“To the person who taught me to love wholeheartedly .. happy 1 year ❣️ You have become so much more than my best friend and partner,” Earle wrote on Instagram in November 2024 in honor of their first anniversary. “I didn’t know I was capable of this type of love and I feel like I have truly found my other half! I love you.”
Alix Earle Talked About Her Future With Braxton Berrios In An Interview Earlier This Year
In an interview with Us Weekly in February 2025, Earle opened up about her relationship with Berrios, specifically detailing how the two were not afraid to talk about their future together.
“We always talk about our future,” she told the outlet. “Right now, we’re so focused on our careers that we live in the moment and don’t rush into anything. I think that’s the cool thing about being with Braxton, [he] is not scared of any type of future.”
But, she also explained how the two weren’t in a rush to get engaged.
“I think we are just kind of letting each other live right now, and we’ll see where we end up,” she said.
Braxton Berrios Couldn’t Attend the Majority of “Dancing With the Stars” Shows
Due to his insanely busy schedule in the NFL as a member of the Houston Texans, Berrios was unable to be at the live shows for “Dancing With the Stars” where Earle ultimately placed second in the entire competiton.
Specifically, he was unable to be there on Nov. 25, but did send a sweet pre-recorded video that aired during the finale.
“I’ve watched you pour everything into this since the moment it has started, and I think it shows,” Berrios said in the video. “Good luck. Have fun, babe.”
With that, she also responded to a fan who was speculating that the two might have broken up after the finale. Earle posted a “Get Ready With Me” video on TikTok, speaking about her “Dancing with the Stars” experience.
In the comments section a fan wrote, “Ugh I hope u and Braxton are still together,” and she replied, “He couldn’t come bc of football :(.”
