It’s a Hallmark & ‘Star Trek’ Crossover, But It’s Not What You’d Think

Hallmark’s relationship with “Star Trek” is legendary. It all began in 1991 with the release of the U.S.S. Enterprise ornament, and the annual series has become one of the most popular in Hallmark’s entire holiday lineup. Over the decades, the company has expanded beyond ships to include beloved characters and even exclusive Comic-Con collectibles — some of which are now worth serious money to collectors.

Now, Hallmark is gearing up for another big Trekmas. The 2025 “Star Trek” ornament collection brings together fan-favorite characters, iconic ships, and even a touch of arcade nostalgia.

Hallmark’s 2025 ‘Star Trek’ Character Ornaments

Star Trek™: The Next Generation Guinan Ornament Hallmark

The first release celebrates the adult animated sitcom “Star Trek: Lower Decks” with a set of two ornaments featuring Ensigns Beckett Mariner and Bradward Boimler. Both characters wear their red California-class command uniforms, with Mariner holding a phaser and Boimler carrying a T-88 tricorder — the one with the signature purple stripe. These figures represent the characters as they appeared in seasons 1 through 3 and the beginning of season 4.

This set marks the second wave of “Lower Decks” ornaments. In 2024, Hallmark released a Badgey two-pack that included “friendly Badgey” and “always monitoring comms Badgey.”

Two additional full-size character ornaments are joining the 2025 lineup. First up is Guinan from “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” Played by Whoopi Goldberg, Guinan is depicted in her famous defensive pose from the season 2 episode “Q Who?” when she comes face-to-face with Q (John de Lancie). The other is Hologram Janeway from “Star Trek: Prodigy,” with Kate Mulgrew’s younger Janeway holding her signature coffee mug and wearing a red Voyager-era command uniform.

All four character ornaments will be available beginning October 11, 2025.

Ships, Arcade Nostalgia, and Mini Ornaments

Star Trek™: Strategic Operations Simulator Arcade Game Ornament With Light and SoundHallmark

No “Star Trek” Hallmark lineup would be complete without ships. For 2025, the featured ship is the U.S.S. Titan-A from “Star Trek: Picard” season 3. In the series finale, the Titan-A is rechristened as the Enterprise-G. A special Comic-Con exclusive ornament reflecting that name was produced in limited numbers for collectors.

Perhaps the most unexpected piece of the collection is a full-size ornament modeled after the Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator Arcade Game, released by Sega in 1982. The ornament depicts the “captain’s chair” version of the arcade cabinet and features lights and sounds from the original game when activated.

Finally, two mini ornaments are set to round out the collection: a miniature version of the Voyager and a mini character ornament of Seven of Nine, played by Jeri Ryan. A full-size Seven ornament was released back in 2000 and is now hard to find, making this smaller version a welcome addition for newer collectors.
