Aubrey O’Day is reaching out to fans with gratitude and updates after an unexpected health scare caused her to miss a Danity Kane reunion concert.
The singer, who has been performing with the group on their “The Untold Chapter Tour,” entered the hospital earlier this week for emergency care and later shared messages of thanks from her hospital bed.
O’Day took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Dec. 10 to let fans know she would be missing the Los Angeles concert later that night.
O’Day Has a Heartfelt Message
“My loves… I am so sorry. I’ve become extremely sick and physically can’t make tonight’s show as I’m in the ER,” she began in the lengthy message.
The 41-year-old added, “I’ve been fighting it all day, spinning around in my head trying to find any way to make this work, but being sick is being sick — it’s completely out of my control.”
She reassured supporters that she’s receiving care and will be back to performing as soon as possible.
“My heart is broken because I never want to let you down. I know the girls will give you an incredible performance tonight, and I promise I’ll be back with you the second my body lets me,” she concluded.
O’Day Was on Tour
Danity Kane — originally formed in 2005 on MTV’s “Making the Band 3” — reunited in 2025 as a trio featuring O’Day alongside fellow original members Aundrea Fimbres and D. Woods.
The “Untold Chapter” tour has been celebrating their longstanding legacy with live shows in cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York.
The tour was announced in October.
“The Untold Chapter Tour isn’t just a concert. It’s a reckoning. It’s the truth behind the story. It’s the reunion that no one thought possible,” the statement said.
With setlists reshaped, confessions revealed, and moments that will never happen the same way twice, this tour promises to leave audiences shaken, inspired, and forever changed.
It continued. “For fans who lived through the rise of Danity Kane and for a new generation discovering their voice — this is history being rewritten in real time.”
For O’Day, the tour has been a meaningful homecoming.
Since Danity Kane’s inception, the group has experienced notable highs and lows, including lineup changes and splits over the years.
The original five members eventually went their separate ways, but the current trio has tapped into decades of chemistry and nostalgia, offering fans a new take on beloved hits like “Show Stopper” and “Damaged.”
