Former MTV reality star Kristin Cavallari recently opened up about which celebrity she has a crush on and the kind of person she’s interested in dating. On her podcast, “Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari,” the “Laguna Beach” star played a game of “sip or spill” with Justin Anderson. During the lighthearted episode, Cavallari got vulnerable about what she’s looking for in a future boyfriend.
Kristin Cavallari Won’t Date an Actor
GettyThe podcaster admitted she’s attracted to Brandon Sklenar, known for his work in the feature film “It Ends With Us.” Unfortunately, Cavallari said she believes he’s in a relationship. In fact, People reported in April that Sklenar was romantically linked to Courtney Salviolo, a personal trainer and nutritionist.
Even if Sklenar was single, Cavallari clarified that she wouldn’t want to date him. In fact, she said, “I would never date an actor.” Anderson pushed Cavallari for more information, which she willingly gave. Cavallari had a couple of reasons she’s not interested in dating actors. For starters, actors have intense schedules that keep them from spending a lot of time with their partners.
“Logistics-wise, the scheduling would be a nightmare. And he wouldn’t be able to travel to me all the time,” Cavallari said.
On top of wanting a partner who’s more available, Cavallari said she worries about actors’ self-esteem. “Typically, actors are very insecure. And I think that’s why they become actors, because they’re seeking outside validation,” the reality TV star added.
Comically, Cavallari had one more reason she’s avoiding actors in the dating pool. “I think a lot of them can be like, just really cheesy and just a bunch of nerds,” she told Anderson. It sounds like Cavallari both wants someone secure in themselves and who’s available to spend time with her in their relationship.
Kristin Cavallari’s Reality TV Career
GettyCavallari has been a reality TV star since she was in high school, originally appearing on “Laguna Beach” and, later, on its spin-off show, “The Hills.” From there, Cavallari stayed in the public eye by participating as a guest judge on various competition shows, such as “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “Dancing with the Stars.”
In 2018, Cavallari got her on reality show, the adorably-named “Very Cavallari,” on which she was also an executive producer. The show lasted for three seasons and followed Cavallari as she launched a store and jewelry line called Uncommon James.
In 2025, Cavallari once again entertained audiences with her show “Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour.” However, the star decided she didn’t want to continue with more seasons, instead focusing on her podcast.
