The contestants from “The Challenge: Vets & New Threats” are whittling down, with two sent home last week.
During the previous daily challenge, Michaela Bradshaw and her partner, Cedric Hodges, got the least amount of correct answers and were automatically sent into the elimination.
At the deliberation, Yeremi Hykel staked a claim for Olivia Kaiser, putting him into competition with Will Gagnon.
Yeremi ultimately won, which means he was now paired up with Olivia. Her partner, Will Gagnon, partnered up with Aviv Melmed.
Will and Aviv got voted into elimination, pitting them against Michaela and Cedric, but the latter pair lost, making them the next to go home.
Read on to find out who won tonight’s elimination and is still in the running to be “The Challenge” champion.
‘The Challenge’ Cast Has to Complete the Daily While Chained Together
Michaela Bradshaw started this episode with a target on her back after seemingly throwing Aviv under the bus last week. Nany Gonzalez was upset with her because she took the fall for Will going home, and the two got into a heated argument.
As they regrouped for the next daily challenge, TJ Lavin told them how important it was to win, as they were inching closer to the final.
He told the contestants that the day’s challenge was called “Global Exchange.” The players are tasked to race down a 1-kilometer road towards two global maps that are labeled incorrectly.
The contestants then have to figure out where to place each label, but the twist is, each team member is chained together the whole time while riding BMX bikes.
Michaela and Cedric take the lead at first, but the other teams quickly catch up and take a stab at the puzzle.
Turbo Çamkıran and Sydney Segal take off first on their bikes, and it turns out that they have trouble because he doesn’t know how to ride one.
The whole cast struggles to figure out the world map, and in the end, TJ announces Turbo and Sydney as the winners.
As for the losers, Cedric and Michaela were the next to go into the arena.
The Next Elimination is a ‘Challenge’ Classic: Balls In
During the nominations, Nany and Justin get voted in, and after years of losing, the “Challenge” vet is ready to prove her worth. However, Michaela also has fire in her to win the “Challenge” champion title.
Going into the arena, they see that the elimination is an old favorite, “Balls In,” which means it’ll be physical.
This time, the males and females will be playing together at the same time, with each taking turns as offense and defense.
The elimination immediately proves to be physical, with Michaela and Cedric knocking out their opponents and getting the first win.
Justin manages to score, but Michaela steamrolls over Nany. “I feel like I got smoked in the face by a freaking train,” Nany says.
Nany and Justin already look defeated, and in the next round, Michaela gets her ball in easily, and after a tussle, Cedric gets his in too.
It’s down to the wire, and Nany and Justin have to score to stay in the game, but they’re overtaken by Michaela and Cedric.
After her defeat, Nany tells the cameras that she still holds onto the hope that she’ll win. “One day, it will happen. I still have more work to do,” she says.
