Nicole Polizzi, best known for her MTV “Jersey Shore” nickname, “Snooki,” rang in her 38th birthday surrounded by the people who matter most. The reality TV icon celebrated on Nov. 24, choosing a cozy, family-focused day at home rather than a full “Jersey Shore” reunion.
Polizzi took to Instagram to show fans just how much her three children, whom she shares with her husband, Jionni LaValle, have grown as they joined her in celebrating her birthday.

Polizzi posted a picture on Instagram surrounded by her family, and fans got to see her three growing children, who all strikingly resemble their famous mom.
In the photo, Polizzi is seen holding her youngest son, 6 year old Angelo James LaValle, as her two oldest children, Lorenzo Dominic LaValle, 13, and Giovanna Marie LaValle, 11, stand next to their mom. Polizzi’s husband, Jionni LaValle, stands behind her while holding the family dog.
Polizzi captioned her sweet birthday post, “This is 38. Counting my blessing everyday. Thank you so much for all the birthday love today.”
Although she spent her birthday with her kids, Polizzi and LaValle did squeeze in a little alone time the day before. Securing a babysitter, Polizzi shared a few photos on Instagram of the pair enjoying a date night at Locale, a New Jersey restaurant where Polizzi sipped a martini and the two shared a pizza.
Polizzi Opened up About the Challenges of Motherhood
GettyIn an October interview with Business Insider, Polizzi opened up about the challenges of raising three children, admitting that the hardest part is carving out individual time for each of them, especially since all three are interested in different things. For her son Lorenzo, it’s playing football, while her daughter Giovanna is in competitive cheer.
“There’s a bit of an age gap there, but it’s nice. I still have my baby, but my older two are more independent. It takes a load off your shoulders when they can shower on their own,” she shared.
“Parenting definitely gets easier as they get older, although it’s challenging to make individual time for each of the kids,” Polizzi added.
In her interview, she also noted that she and LaValle have never relied on a nanny to help raise their kids, emphasizing that they prefer to handle parenting themselves, just like any other “normal” parents who juggle it all without help.
“My husband Jionni and I never had a nanny. I didn’t grow up that way, and I didn’t want my kids to grow up like that either. I wanted to keep everything with the kids close to home and within the family,” she said.
