‘Spiderman’ Star Rocks Bold New Transformation: PHOTOS

Tom Holland is beloved for his lead role in the “Spider-Man” film franchise, and although he has changed his appearance over the years, both onscreen and off, fans know and love his dark locks. However, Holland is looking very different right now!

Tom Holland Transforms for a New Short Film

On September 1, Holland appeared in a short film for LEGO, titled “Never Stop Playing,” which was shared on YouTube. In the clip, the actor transforms into different characters as he discusses how he will “never” stop playing. We see him with long blonde hair as he becomes a professor, with his usual shade of brunette, and his appearance changes drastically for older and younger versions of himself.

But it’s his bold blonde curly hairstyle, complete with a middle parting, that has attracted the most attention because Holland looks so good!

A photo of Holland’s hairstyle was shared on X by PopCulture, and the post has allowed fans to react.

“Tom really pulled this off effortlessly. The blonde hair with the playful roles makes him almost unrecognizable, but that’s the beauty of it he’s showing he can step outside his usual look and still shine. LEGO picked the perfect guy for this campaign,” a comment reads.

“He looks great,” another fan shared.

Other comments include, “Ngl, he looks like the handsome quarterback in teen fiction and high school movies. Gotta love it,” and “Bro got highlights lol. Is this 90s fad gonna make a comeback.”

Tom Holland’s Transformation for His Roles

The new LEGO video is not Holland’s first transformation for a role. His most drastic change to date occurred when he was filming the 2021 film, “Cherry.”

He lost around 24 pounds for the role and recalled the experience in an interview with British GQ in April 2021. “It was only about 10 weeks out of shooting that I realised what I was getting into and what I need to do to transform into the role,” he said. “So I sat down with my trainer, George Ashwell, and he told me ‘Right, you need to eat only 500 calories a day and run 10 miles. Go.’ Great. It was brutal.”

The change of losing weight and then bulking up again actually made Holland “very sick.” He confessed that he would be reluctant to play another part like this in the future because of the impact it had on his body.
