Emotional Kim Kardashian Reveals She Has Brain Aneurysm

Kim Kardashian suffered a major health scare and blamed it on her chaotic divorce from Kanye West.

On Thursday’s Season 7 premiere of “The Kardashians,” the SKIMS founder, 45, revealed that a routine MRI showed she has a brain aneurysm.

Kim told Kourtney Kardashian that doctors found a “little” aneurysm on her brain scan, per The Daily Mail.

In the premiere episode, Kim visited a medical center for the procedure, where cameras captured her being rolled into an MRI machine.

After the test, an emotional Kim was shown talking on the phone and asking, “Why the f*** is this happening?”

Kim Kardashian Says Stress Led to Her Brain Aneurysm

In the same episode, Kim shared that doctors attributed her aneurysm to “stress.” Another clip then showed the “All’s Fair” star getting out of the MRI machine while discussing her messy divorce from West.

Kim and West married in 2014 before filing for divorce in 2021. The separation was finalized in 2022.

Meanwhile, The Daily Mail explained that an aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in the wall of a blood vessel. While a ruptured aneurysm can be life-threatening, an unruptured one can often be managed through regular monitoring and check-ups.

According to the Mayo Clinic, many individuals with an unruptured aneurysm experience no symptoms at all. Meanwhile, those with ruptured ones typically suffer from high blood pressure.

In addition, a ruptured brain aneurysm requires immediate medical attention, often involving procedures such as surgical clipping or endovascular coiling to seal the burst vessel.

Kim’s Health Struggles Through the Years

This isn’t the first time Kim has faced health challenges. “The Kardashians” star has long battled autoimmune conditions, including psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

In 2022, Kim revealed that she made drastic changes in her diet in order to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s iconic gown for the Met Gala. However, the move caused her body to have a psoriasis flare-up that led to psoriatic arthritis.

“Psoriasis broke out over my body and I got psoriatic arthritis so I couldn’t really move my hands,” Kim said in a 2022 interview with Allure. “I was freaking out. It was really painful, and I had to go to a rheumatologist who put me on a steroid.”

In 2015, TMZ reported that Kim suffered from placenta accreta, which is a pregnancy condition where the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall. The outlet noted that the condition made birth more difficult for the reality star, though she was still able to deliver her second child, Saint, naturally.

  1. 2. Baby girl, one thing that I have learned in this life is that you have to take care of yourself. No amount of money, fame, etc, is worth putting your health at risk. The world will go on without you. The most important job that you have is being a healthy mother, everything else is obsolete!

  3. Bullshit. She doesn’t have an aneurysm. You don’t get them from stress. They’re mainly congenital. I know because I had one rupture and have had 8 brain surgeries as a result.

    • Stress lowers Zn/B vitamins and progesterone. This can affect every blood vessels for Cu/Zn balance. Hair tests for good minerals/heavy metals may help from Amazon. Whole family trees may have gluten issues.

  5. Never heard of an aneurysm forming because of stress. I got up to go to bed and night, got “THE HEADACHE” and hit the floor. My aneurysm ruptured and I had a SAH stroke. The cause.. high blood pressure. After 3 weeks in ICU with no clue why I was there, what happened or why these strangers were here. They transferred me to in-house physical therapy. I had a 10% chance of survival and a 90% chance of having another. You feel so helpless knowing there’s nothing you can do. I have developed arthritis on my knee, my neck, shoulders and both arms. I wasn’t trying to fit into a Marilyn Monroe dress, I was just trying to sleep. Worry about the next day, not your vanity, your fame and fortune will come in handy. And if the neurologist asks if you want a stent, the answer is yes. Starve that sucker out before it ruptures.

  6. Autoimmune issues can be due to gluten which may hurt the gut lining so less nutrients absorb like Zn/Cu etc.. which may affect aneurysm issues etc.. Hair test to see good minerals/heavy metal levels may help. Gluten is in wheat/barley/rye…oats/corn/rice. Rice is low in gluten. Wild rice/buckwheat has no gluten. Hidden gluten is common. Her whole family may have gluten issues.
