Fans were shocked when a bombshell was dropped at the beginning of season 7, episode 1 of “The Kardashians.” During a teaser trailer, Kim Kardashian was shown going into an MRI scanner, informing her family that “There was a little aneurysm. The reason the doctors gave her wasn’t very comforting, either. “They were like, ‘Just stress,'” the reality star and mother of four said.
Kim appeared on “Good Morning America” on October 28 to chat and hype up the new season. Although her aneurysm is obviously a significant storyline, she cautiously gave Robin Roberts an update.

“You’ll see in the next episode, I did go and get a Prenuvo scan,” Kim told the “GMA” host. “And I had to end up going and getting tons of other brain scans at Cedars[-Sinai] with all the team. Just tune in next week, but everything works out.”
She went on to share what she’d learned from the ordeal, encouraging her fans to always be in tune with their bodies.
“It’s just a good measure to go; make sure that you always check everything,” she added. “And health is wealth, and you just have to be careful with everything that you do.”
Kim Kardashian Recognizes the Source of Her Increased Stress
At one point in the premiere episode, Kim is frustrated at the reappearance of her psoriasis, which is also caused by stress. She points to her ex-husband, Kanye “Ye” West, as the source of her renewed stress.
“I felt more stressed, probably just because I had to super, super protect what I had to protect,” she said. She then revealed that her kids “are involved now.”
She acknowledged that one of their kids had become aware of some of his behavior. However, she chose not to step in and ‘make things better,’ as she’d done in the past.
“It was the first time, I think, that one of my kids knew what was happening,” she said. “I’d been able to hide it for so long. I always felt like I had a little bit of Stockholm syndrome. Where I always felt really bad, and always protected, and always wanted to help. And this was the first time I didn’t feel that responsibility personally.”
Kim Kardashian Pushes Back Against Claims She Prevents Ex From Seeing Kids
Kim explained that, as her kids got older, it became harder to shield them from hearing about their father’s antics.
“They’re gonna know things,” she said. “They’re gonna grow up, they’re gonna see. So my job as a mom is just to make sure that, at a time when that behavior is happening, is just to make sure that they are protected.”
“As much as people think I have the luxury of walking away and not dealing ever again. That’s not my reality,” Kim said. “This person — we have four kids together.”
The “All’s Fair” star spoke about Ye’s Twitter attacks, accusing her of keeping their kids from him. She called it all “very confusing.”
“It’ll be all this talk on the internet of like, ‘I’m keeping the kids.’ But he’s never once called and asked,” she said, clearly frustrated. “But then I’ll wake up, and it’s on Twitter that I’m keeping the kids. So it’s just when it’s not true and it’s not rational, I just have to — I can’t engage all the time.”
