Kim Kardashian is honoring a heartbreaking anniversary. The reality star and entrepreneur paid tribute to her close friend Lindsay May Palevsky on the first anniversary of her passing, sharing a deeply emotional message filled with love and remembrance.
Months after revealing that Lindsay, one of her lifelong “lifers” friends, had died following a battle with a rare form of cancer, Kardashian took to Instagram on November 3 to express how much she still misses her. “A year without you,” she wrote.
“The world paused on Nov 2nd, and I know a part of the lifers went with you. Time feels strange without you here. We all see you in purple skies and butterflies. I love you forever, my lifer.”
Kim Reflects on Memories & Shared Moments
The post included a collection of touching photos, from photobooth selfies and throwback group shots to sweet moments at Psalm West’s second birthday in 2021. One photo featured Lindsay’s headstone, surrounded by purple flowers and hand-painted rocks, engraved with “beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.”
The Kardashians star, who shares four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm- with ex-husband Kanye West, has often reflected on the deep bond she shared with Lindsay.
Remembering Lindsay’s Life & Legacy
In June, Kardashian confirmed Lindsay’s passing by reposting a fundraiser in her honor. Weeks later, she marked what would have been her friend’s 45th birthday with another emotional post.
“It was just your birthday and I know you never liked to make a big deal of it, but Happy Heavenly Birthday, Lindz,” she wrote. “Nothing really captures how quiet and empty our lifers chat feels without you in it.”
She went on to describe how returning to their favorite lake spot brought back vivid memories of Lindsay. “The lake was your happy place,” she shared.
“It made you feel lighter, healthier… you were you. It’ll always be our favorite lifers tradition because it’s where we spend time with all of our kids being together and get real time with each other without any outside noise.”
