KATSEYE’s ‘Touch’ Becomes the Group’s First Music Video to Reach 200 Million Views

KATSEYE is on a winning streak. The rookie girl group made headlines earlier this week after earning two Grammy nominations, a rare feat for newcomers. Now, they’ve added another milestone to their growing list of achievements: their music video for Touch has surpassed 200 million views on YouTube, the group’s first to do so.

According to Allkpop, the “Touch” video crossed the 200 million mark on Nov. 9, 2025, at around 5 p.m. KST. The accomplishment came one year and three months after its release on July 26, 2024.

Global Debut Leads to Global Reach

KATSEYE debuted in 2024 under HYBE and Geffen Records through the joint “The Debut: Dream Academy” project, which aimed to create a global pop act. From the start, the group’s mission was to bridge cultures and appeal to fans worldwide.

“Touch,” the second single from their debut EP “SIS (Soft Is Strong), quickly became a standout. The song blends dance-pop and R&B with drum-and-bass influences, creating a sound that feels both modern and international. The music video’s bright Y2K-inspired visuals and intricate choreography helped it gain traction across social media platforms.

The video’s viral dance challenge on TikTok played a major role in its success, drawing millions of new fans and boosting its streaming numbers. With its catchy hook and shareable aesthetic, “Touch” proved to be the breakout anthem KATSEYE needed to solidify its global identity.

What the Milestone Means

Reaching 200 million views marks more than just another streaming record for KATSEYE; it confirms their growing influence in the global pop scene. The achievement shows how effectively the group has bridged K-pop precision with Western pop appeal, creating a sound that resonates across cultures.

Other KATSEYE releases are showing strong momentum as well. Their music video for “Gnarly” has surpassed 118 million views, while “Gabriela” has topped 127 million, according to Allkpop. These consistent numbers demonstrate that the group’s popularity is not limited to a single viral hit but is part of a steady upward trajectory.

Following the success of “Touch,” KATSEYE’s next chapter looks even more ambitious. Industry watchers expect expanded touring opportunities, high-profile collaborations, and stronger visibility in global award circuits. Their growing international fanbase is likely to propel future releases to similar milestones, or even greater ones.

The 200 million milestone is not a finish line. It’s a springboard that proves KATSEYE’s rise is built on genuine connection and global appeal. Their recent achievements show the group is moving from a viral phenomenon to a lasting mainstay in pop culture. KATSEYE’s journey is still unfolding, and the world is watching closely to see where its momentum takes them next.
