If you recognize Danielle Colby from “American Pickers,” then you might also know that she’s very much into burlesque and seems to have no problem showing off her body. That’s surely why she was comfortable enough to share a photo of herself in a revealing swimsuit.
On Monday, November 10, she took to Instagram to share a pic that features herself and her friend. In the shot, Danielle confidently poses in a bikini.
“@adirayamilet we bonded at first through Burlesque,” she wrote in the caption of her post. “While I was living in Puerto Rico, full-time, I started teaching, and she became one of my students. Very soon, I realized that she had a bevy of other talent, including Egyptian folk dance RAQS also known [as] Belly Dance. While she was learning from me I started taking lessons from her.
“What a fantastic teacher and friend,” she continued. “Thank you for years of love, laughter and tears together. You are one of the greatest gifts Puerto Rico has given me. I look forward to shimmying into the future together. Here’s to many more years of dancing together ❤️”
She added, “go give my friend a follow and a sweet comment. @adirayamilet bikini hand made by my friend @oakumcollection in PR.”

Danielle Has Thoughts About Taylor Swift’s Showgirl Era
As a genuine showgirl, Danielle has a few questions and thoughts about Taylor Swift’s showgirl-inspired era.
“What is a showgirl? Taylor is now a really important conversation piece in the history of Burlesque,” she wrote on Instagram. “We’re definitely delving into Taylor Swift and her perceived influence in the showgirl conversation today.”
Danielle continued, “Why does a billionaire musicians voice and actions matter in the modern showgirl world? Does it even matter? How does TSwift affect us as an industry? Love her or hate her, she has inserted her unique perspective and voice into the showgirl conversation, now what do we do with that? Does her voice reflect the reality of the non billionaire showgirl life? Does she understand the history of the identity she has recently adopted? I have thoughts…”
