Fans React to Whitney Leavitt & Mark Ballas’ Disney-Themed Foxtrot Routine & Scores

“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Whitney Leavitt and professional dance partner Mark Ballas have consistently scored high with the judges and won over fans at home. Ballas has incredible choreography, and Leavitt has energy and dance skills, plus she’s an undeniable performer!

Their “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 journey has been incredible, and on Disney Night, there was no disappointment!

For Week 4, Disney night, the pair performed a Foxtrot to “The Room Where It Happens” from “Hamilton.” Their choice of song was bold and fun, and not typically what one would think of when considering Disney themes, which made it even more exciting.

There were no princess vibes here, but the pair definitely slayed. The judges, Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli scored them 25 out of 30. They currently have the higest score of the night.

After the performance, the official “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram account posted photos of the pair onstage. They look incredible, and they did a fantastic job. Fans flooded the comment section of the post to share their thoughts on whether the judges got it right. 

Fans were in love with this performance! “MARK BALLAS has done it again! His choreography is out of this WORLD!,” a fan shared. “@markballas choreography literally NEVER misses. it was perfect,” another person wrote.

“They earned that 9 I’ll never forget that performance,” a third fan wrote. This is the first 9 of the season!


Whitney Leavitt & Mark Ballas Tease Their Performance 

Ahead of their live performance, Ballas and Leavitt shared their excitement. In an Instagram post on Monday, October 6, Leavitt posted a short clip of them dressed in their costumes. “The answer is yes, we are very excited to dance to @hamiltonmusical tomorrow!” she wrote in the caption. 

Fans were impressed! “I’m telling my kids this is the original Hamilton,” a comment reads. “Imagine someone just walked into the studio and saw this haha purely iconic,” another person shared. 

Other reactions include, “Can’t wait for tomorrow,” “ am currently in the middle of a deep Hamilton obsession,” and “I’ve never been more excited for a DUO AND a dance! LETS GOOO!”

On show day on Tuesday, October 7, Leavitt updated fans on Instagram with another little teaser of their performance. She shared her thoughts in the caption. “I can’t WAIT for you guys to see this dance @markballas and I have worked our hearts out on tonight! For all my fellow @hamiltonmusical fans… I hope we do you proud! Love you guys!” she wrote.
