During the October 7 episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” this week’s remaining couples performed to songs inspired by beloved Disney films and attractions. Eras Tour backup dancer Jan Ravnik along with his celebrity partner Jen Affleck brought “Aladdin” to the stage. Check out Jan and Jen’s Week 4 DWTS performance along with a spoiler-filled recap of the judges’ reactions and scores below.
Jan & Jen Went to Disneyland Ahead of Their Performance
Jen reminisced that “Aladdin” was one of her favorite movies growing up, and some of her first childhood memories were at Disneyland. When the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star returned to the place “where dreams come true” with her husband, Zac, and her children Nora, Lucas, and Penelope by her side, the park became even more special.
ABC/DisneyJen and her family along with their new “Uncle Jan,” as Zac jokingly referred to him, got to ride different attractions like “It’s a Small World.” Spending this time together was just what Jen needed to inspire this week’s performance, where she also explained how excited she was to bring her theater background to the stage.
While at Disneyland, Jen met The Genie and asked him to grant her a wish before leaving the rest up to the three judges.

Judges Reactions & Scores
In the wake of their disappointing scores last week, Jen knew she definitely needed to step it up. The couple received a low score of 19 out of 30 for their Cha Cha Cha to the song “She’s a Bad Mama Jama” by Carl Carlton during Week 3’s TikTok Night episode.
After surprising judge Derek Hough with an impressive acrobatic move, it’s safe to say that she succeeded. Before giving his thoughts, Hough exclaimed, “Jen, did you just do a back walkover? Okay, bag of tricks!” Hough wasn’t the only judge unable to contain his enthusiasm. Bruno Tonioli claimed that their performance was “spectacular, theatrical magic,” “so well put together,” and a “grand finale for a magical night.”
Carrie Ann Inaba, on the other hand, wants Jan and Jen to take on more of a challenge going forward. Though Inaba was less enthusiastic next to her fellow judges, she still called it a “great performance.”
Inaba gave the pair a solid score of 7, while Hough and Tonioli both gave them a score of 8, earning Jan and Jen a total score of 23 out of 30. This is their best score so far, beating out their score of 22 out of 30 that they received for their quickstep to a-ha’s “Take On Me” for “One-Hit Wonders Night.”
Jen and Jan were the first couple to find out that they were safe from elimination this week. What did you think of their performance last night on “Dancing with the Stars?”
