16 New Movies Hit Great American Family on October 9

Move over pumpkin spice, because Great American Family is officially kicking off the holiday season early; and yes, it seems like they’re basically giving us a new movie almost every week from October through December. Each film drops first on Great American Pure Flix, then a few days later on GAF Channel at 8:00 p.m. ET and to streaming (GFAM+). 

If you’re already planning your cozy nights with cocoa and blankets, you might want to clear some space on your watchlist; this lineup is loaded with pies, small-town magic, royal surprises, and just enough romance to make you go, “awww.”


1) A Wisconsin Christmas Pie

If you’ve ever thought dessert could fix a broken heart, this movie gets you.

Stars: Katie Leclerc and Ryan Carnes.

Synopsis: A pastry chef returns home to Door County, Wisconsin, for Christmas and finds that saving her family’s orchard — and her heart — may depend on the perfect pie and a second chance at love.

2) ‘A Christmas List of Blessings’

Get ready for all the heartwarming holiday feels; you might want tissues.
