Lori Loughlin Embraces a New Beginning After Separation From Mossimo Giannulli

Lori Loughlin  and Mossimo Giannulli have taken the next step in their separation after it was revealed that they are splitting up after 28 years of marriage.

TMZ reports that the couple are not living under the same roof, with Loughlin said to be in Los Angeles, while Giannulli has been “spending a lot of time at their house in Sun Valley, Idaho.”

“We’re told Lori doesn’t consider herself ‘single’ yet — even though she’s not currently dating — and she’s just waiting to see how the separation shakes out,” the outlet added.

The couple share two grown children — Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, and TMZ emphasized how the former Hallmark star has been leaning on her daughters and spending a lot of time with them.

TMZ also added that the separation stemmed from issues that began due to the college admissions scandal. Specifically, sources told the outlet that she is “just devastated by the separation because she thought Mossimo would make changes after they were released from prison — but he didn’t — and she’s disappointed in him.”

Loughlin and Giannulli were both sentenced to prison in 2020 due to the scandal, with the “Full House” star getting a two-month sentence, while Giannulli received a five-month sentence.

In 2019, reports first surfaced that the two were having marital issues college admissions scandal because of the college admissions scandal, per US Weekly.

“Their daughter Bella is extremely concerned they’re going to get divorced,” one source said. The insider added that the two argued over whether to take a private jet to a court appearance, but were “advised by their lawyers not to.”

Another source told the outlet that Loughlin’s friends “think she should leave him, but Lori refuses and says the ordeal has made them stronger.”


Lori Loughlin Spotted Without Her Ring

Loughlin was recently spotted out in public for the first time since the news of her separation was announced, and Page Six shared a photo of her, zooming in on the fact that she didn’t have her ring on.

Loughlin was wearing black athletic pants, a white tank top, and pink sneakers, with her hair up in a high pony-tail.

This comes after she was seen hugging her Great American Family co-star James Tupper just before the reports started, while Giannulli was spotted with a brunette woman who was later confirmed to be his stylist.
