“Friends” alum Elle Macpherson is glowing at 62. The supermodel once known as “The Body” looks just as radiant as she did in her modeling days. In an interview with Hello magazine, the Australian-born beauty reflected on her milestone year.

Best remembered by fans as Janine, Joey Tribbiani’s roommate on the hit sitcom.
And now, decades later, Macpherson is embracing her sixties with style and a lot of grace.
From ‘The Body’ to a Deeper Purpose
Macpherson rose to fame in the 1980s, landing five Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covers and walking for top luxury houses including Louis Vuitton and Dior.

But these days, she says her life is about more than just image.
“Being in my sixties has been a transition from being ‘The Body’ to embodying something far more meaningful, with greater purpose,” she explained.
For Macpherson, her greatest role has been motherhood.
She shares two sons, Flynn, 27, and Cy, 22, with former partner Arpad Busson. “Having my children is my greatest achievement,” she told Hello magazine. “Being a mother is the most important thing I do.”

A Perfect Sunlit Life in Miami
Now based in Miami, Macpherson embraces the laid-back lifestyle that reminds her of home in Australia. “I love the warmth and ease and flow of Miami – it’s relaxed and easygoing,” she said, describing her essentials as “a bikini, a great pair of jeans, a white T-shirt, minimal make-up, a cowboy hat and flip-flops.”
She also continues to model, recently fronting a campaign for Australian leisurewear brand The Upside.
Resilience Through Challenges
Life hasn’t been without struggles. In 2017, Macpherson was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a lumpectomy. Embracing a holistic recovery, she spent eight months focusing on natural healing.
Now cancer-free, she says meditation keeps her grounded. “Balance takes stillness,” she explained. “I take time to meditate every day so that my purpose and priorities become clear.”
At 62, Elle Macpherson proves that beauty and confidence only grow with time. The supermodel and “Friends” alum continues to inspire with her grace and strength.
