Jennifer Aniston Reveals Her Favorite Cheat Day Meals

Jennifer Aniston is proving that even A-list stars crave simple comforts. The “Morning Show” actress and Emmy winner recently revealed her favorite indulgences, her go-to circle of friends, and the small routines that keep her feeling grounded.

The 56-year-old star, who just released her first children’s cookbook, “Cook With Clydeo,” said her cheat day meals are anything but extravagant.

Jennifer Aniston Talks Cheat Day Indulgences

The “Friends” alum, 56, revealed in an interview with People that when she wants to relax, she often turns to homemade comfort foods like “pizza nights, burgers or Mexican food.” Going out with close girlfriends is another go-to.

“I’ll go to my favorite restaurant with some girlfriends, have a martini, and some delicious meal,” Aniston told the outlet.

Aniston went on to name some of the pals she frequently shares meals with, including her former “Friends” co-stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow. Other members of her inner circle include Jason Bateman’s wife Amanda Anka and jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, the ex-wife of Tobey Maguire.

Aniston credits much of her happiness to her inner circle. “I have a really wonderful, loving, solid group of friends who are very funny on top of being wonderful human beings. And so, we make each other laugh,” she said.

Jennifer Aniston on Aging With Positivity

Aniston recently spoke with Glamour about her approach to aging gracefully, saying she relies on her outlook as much as her wellness routine.

“I have an eternal fountain of optimism and positivity. Call it youth if you want,” she said.

Along with her commitment to a positive mindset and strong circle of friends, the actress says self-love plays an equally important role.

“But I think it all starts with how we love our bodies and love where we are,” she added.

Jennifer Aniston’s New Chapter With “Cook With Clydeo”

Much of Aniston’s current joy comes from her latest project, “Cook With Clydeo,” a children’s cookbook inspired by her dog Clyde. Released on Sept. 9, the book features 35 recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.

Aniston said one highlight has been seeing families she knows recreate the recipes. “I’ve gotten many, many reports and photographs of Jimmy and Molly’s kids making the pancakes,” she shared, referring to Jimmy Kimmel and his wife, Molly McNearney. “A bunch of friends of mine have sent me pictures of their children with their mitts and making the recipes, which is so adorable.”

While banana pancakes are a crowd favorite, Aniston’s personal pick is her enchilada bites. “It’s guilt-free, because they’re just little bites,” she said. “You can stretch it into two bites, but definitely, definitely yummy, yummy, yummy.”

The cookbook is just the beginning of her Clydeo series. It follows her debut children’s book, “Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life,” released in 2024, and HarperCollins has confirmed more titles are on the way, including “Clydeo Versus Peanut Butter” later this year and “Clydeo Makes a Friend” in 2026.
