TV Aztec Guate, which is where Escalante worked as a host, shared the news on November 28. They wrote on Instagram, “Her charisma, her joy, and that special light that always accompanied her made every moment by her side something unique and memorable.”
The post continued, “Today, we bid farewell to a colleague and friend who left a huge imprint on our hearts. Her smile, her energy, and her passion for communicating will continue to inspire us every day.”
They then said, “We accompany his family and loved ones with love at this very difficult time.

As far as the public knows, Escalante began having health problems in 2024. It was later revealed that she had been diagnosed with cervical cancer. Naturally, this caused an outpouring of support from her fans. There was even a GoFundMe launched in her name.
