Kelsea Ballerini shone like the star she is when she stepped onto the red carpet for the 59th Annual Country Music Association Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday, November 19. Standing out in an eye-catching dress that was also totally on-trend, Kelsea opted to wear a sheer dress in a stunning shade of red that showed a bit of skin and boasted a lot of style.
With a large rose-like swirl on the front of the dress, the gown had a romantic touch. Of course, that’s not to mention the sheer fabric that swirled around her and opened up at the top like a blooming flower. Stretching down to her mid-calf (with some pieces falling even further), the material around her legs was also see-through.
Wearing her hair down and parted in the middle, Kelsea opted for red shoes that matched her dress and bold scarlet lips.

Kelsea’s Current Style Involves ‘Leaning Into [Her] Womanhood’
“When Kelsea Ballerini stepped onto the country music scene in 2014, she became known for her charming and melodious songwriting, as well as her sweet and playful girl-next-door style,” Fashionista noted in February 2024. “Brightly colored mini dresses, princess-y high/low gowns and plenty of glitter defined Ballerini’s appearance at the start of her career. Now, 10 years later, the 30-year-old is in an era of rebirth.”
Kelsea herself explained, “I think there’s been an evolution of the way I feel about myself and what I’m comfortable in. I feel comfortable enough in myself to explore different looks and fall in love with my body a little bit more.”
“Learning to accept myself and learn the parts of my body that I like has been a really big part of my style evolution,” she added. “Now I can be like, ‘I am digging my legs this week, let’s show ’em off.’ It’s all part of growing up and leaning into my womanhood.”
