Hallmark’s newest Christmas movie, “An Alpine Holiday,” stars Ashley Williams, Laci J. Mailey, and Julien Samani. ‘An Alpine Holiday’ Was Filmed on Location in France and Bulgaria
“An Alpine Holiday” was filmed on location in a variety of European locations, according to a fun post from Mailey about her filming experience. According to IMDb, one of the filming locations was in Sofia, Bulgaria. According to posts by Williams, another filming location was Mont Blanc and Chamonix, France.
Mailey wrote, “remember when we literally had to climb mountains in the alps and then @lucieguest forced us to eat French pastries and @julien broke more glass bottles in hotel lobbies than anyone in Europe ever has?… thank you for letting us play in the snow and for being the best producers ever. I hope you all enjoy this movie as much as we did making it. I’m still laughing.

In September, Williams posted a photo of her doing a yoga pose at the top of Mont Blanc, France.
Williams shared a behind-the-scenes post and said they filmed in “real snow” at times.
Mailey posted a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram from when they were filming.
Back in June, Samani posted that he had an “amazing time” filming in Bulgaria and Chamonix.

Ashley Williams is Faith. According to her Hallmark bio, she’s an actor, producer, writer, and director with a long list of credits, including more than 200+ TV episodes. She recently directed an episode of “The Rookie.” Of course, Hallmark fans know here for all her romance movies, like “Love on a Limb,” the “Sister Swap” franchise, “October Kiss,” “Christmas in Evergreen,” “Northern Lights of Christmas,” “Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater,” “Falling Together,” “Jingle Bell Run,” and more.
Laci J. Mailey is Kelly. She’s perhaps best known among Hallmark fans for her lead role on “Chesapeake Shores.” Her many other credits include “Falling Skies,” “Supernatural,” and theater productions like “Henry IV,” “Spike Heels,” and more. She’s the owner of Good Fruit Productions.
Julien Samani is Frederic. According to his Hallmark bio, he’s well known for his role on Netflix’s “Holidate” opposite Emma Roberts. Other credits include “Shrinking,” “Tiny Beautiful Things,” “Young Rock,” and more. When he’s not on the camera, he’s biking around LA or snuggling wiht his kitten Edith, according to his bio.
